Spoiled, Spoiled, Spoiled Dogs!

Yes, that would be our two Golden's! At least if you classify this spoiled:
#1.  They sleep with pillows. (half the time)
#2.  They LOVE their showers! Most the time they will stand in the shower if you are in the bathroom and stare at you - until of course, you give in and give them a shower.
#3.   They MUST HAVE a fan on when they sleep. Not kidding here. IF you forget to turn on that fan for them, you can forget about getting a good night's sleep :)

And what did we spoil them with today? Well we searched all over for a large plastic pool. Three stops later, we found one. So we bring it home along with some pool toys - not official dog toys, but the rings that sink to the bottom of the pool and you have to dive down and get them. We weren't sure if they would like the new ring pool toys or not, but the LOVE them.

Now of course it's a few hours later and they are passed out from their afternoon 'pool time' dreaming happy dreams as they lay their heads on their pillows, feeling the warm breeze of the fan blow across them.

Can Never Be Overly Organized .... Right??

I found another iPad app to keep more organized. Currently I am using Pages, Dropbox, Google Drive and now .... Outline Plus. Why do I use so many apps? Well, ever since I lost an ENTIRE novel I had written ..... over 230,000 words written in this novel, I decided to keep an additional copy of all my writing elsewhere, as a back up.

That was going great until ..... Pages recently decided it could no longer open another one of the novels I was writing! So guess what?? I'm currently re-writing that novel too! Grrrrrrr!

So lesson learned. I now ALWAYS keep 3-4 copies of what I'm writing in various apps. Technology is great but I still use notebooks and binders and actually WRITE notes down, never completely relying on technology to keep my notes.

Stranded in a Ghost Town .....

This weather is just great. It's May and it's raining and cold and I'm bundled up underneath comforters, propped up by pillows and writing on my iPad all the while listening to the water heat the registers, wishing I was eating a nice hot bowl of chili. I guess the plus side to all of this cold, rainy weather is the grass is sure green!

So I'm thinking locations for an upcoming story. And of course the only thing that comes quickly and effortlessly to my mind is GHOST TOWN!

So much can happen when you become
                     stranded in a Ghost Town . . . .

But what genre should the book be written for? Tween, Young Adult or Adult? I'm trying to decide which way I want the story to go. In the meantime, I would need to get some Ghost Town pictures for the Book Trailer and the book itself.

You know what that means for this Summer ..... GHOST TOWN ROAD TRIP!!

TAGLINE Reveal!

So.... here we have it! The Official Tagline reveal!

"Where unspoken secrets become exposed" works very well for ALL the genres that I write in: tween/young adult/adult. Now that the tagline is official, who knows what else I may come up with to attach that tagline too :)

Five Things I Would Buy For Myself With A Million Dollars

Thank you Emily J. for the question for this Blog post.  Emily wants to know:

What five things would I buy for myself with a million dollars?

Okay Emily, here is my list:

1.   An RV!
2.   A Jeep Wrangler
3.   A Pontoon .... minus the Pontoon song!
4.   A Personal Trainer - to keep me more motivated to actually 'work out' in addition to running.

and .......

5.   An iPod - so I can listen to music when I run. (Yes, I still do not own an iPod ....)
